And now the moment you've all been waiting for...

Here are the cities and venues that Roddy will be playing during his upcoming UK and Ireland tour. (Yes, Ireland too... We know there's a difference.)

Where venues are marking as TBC rest assured that we do know where we're going and we do have venues arranged, we're just finalising a few details this week in time for tickets going on sale.

Saturday 12th July DUBLIN, IRELAND - The Village
Sunday 13th July: CORK, IRELAND - Cypress Avenue
Monday 14th July: INVERNESS, SCOTLAND - The Ironworks
Tuesday 15th July: GLASGOW, SCOTLAND - The Garage
Wednesday 16th July: EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND - Studio 24
Thursday 17th July: BELFAST, N. IRELAND - The Empire Music Hall
Sunday 20th July: SHEFFIELD, ENGLAND - The Memorial Hall
Monday 21st July: NEWCASTLE, ENGLAND - The Stand
Tuesday 22nd July: MANCHESTER, ENGLAND - The Comedy Store
Wednesday 23rd July: NOTTINGHAM, ENGLAND - The Glee Club
Saturday 26th July: LONDON, ENGLAND - The Leicester Square Theatre
Sunday 27th July: CARDIFF, WALES - The Glee Club
Monday 28th July: BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND - The Glee Club

Ticket prices may vary slightly venue to venue but will generally be £20 for standard tickets and £35 for VIP. VIP limited to 150 per show and includes an autograph and photo opportunity. All the meet & greets will be before the show.

Tickets will go on sale this coming Friday at 10am. We'll be posting sales links as soon as they go live.

So... Where can we expect to see you?

Bit of a ridiculous schedule for someone that old. Glad the Dublin show is first as he may not have a voice at the end of the tour.

I'm sure the Pat Patterson question will be asked at each venue. Which you have to laugh at the timing. Piper comes out with it just shortly before his tour.

Almost think it was planned (cough) wouldnt you :pac:

Will definitely try head to that Dublin date, be interesting to hear what he has to say.

In a trailer for a shoot interview he suggested he had to have sex with Patterson when he joined WWF in 1984 and was traumatised because of it.

Don't know if it is true and haven't bothered looking into it.

Kevin Nash called him out on Twitter the other week late at night and they had a disagreement about a backstage fight they did or didn't have but Piper seems to have a poor memory as everyone else took Nash's side. Q&As with someone who has a poor/selective memory seems like a waste of money to me.

Sounds like a bit of a train wreck waiting to happen tbh wonder how Piper would deal with the almost guaranteed hecklers

This intrigues me. If it's like the Foley disaster I'd be gutted to pass it up!

Be a good opportunity for OSW to squeeze in a sneaky interview!

Mick played here in 2012 and was greeted with a few hecklers and things turned pretty awkward pretty fast. Absolute gent to meet though!

He had a horrible stand-up where he couldn't deal with some drunken (positive) hecklers. He said "when they ask me about the tour I'll say it's great, except for Dublin" before cursing himself off-stage! It was horrible. If you wanna hear more, I chat about it here.

It's a sad state of affairs that I wouldn't travel into my own city to see Piper speak in 2014. I'd give a nut for this back in 1992.

The Village is a great spot to have it. Will definitely make this. I've missed so many wrestling events(Foley, leggo's parties) of late due to work commitments.

    What price are tix?

I was at the Dublin gig and I had a meet and greet with Roddy. He was a complete Gentleman and Legend. He answered a couple of questions I had for him and signed my limited senitype from Wrestlemania 3 and for the posed photo I asked would it be ok for him to put me in the sleeper for it and he smiled and said of course.

Now I am 6'3 legit and started to bend down for a posed photo he wispered im my ear it's ok stand up and prepare he then kneed me in the back and I fell right back into him and put the sleeper on with a nice bit of force I semi sold it lol for the photo :) But someone later on and fair play fulled sold it.

I asked could I look at his HoF ring and he let me try it on it was smaller than I thought it would but still very nice. I was kind of shaking from nerves as Roddy was the reason I fell in love with wrestling way back in the early 80's.

Honestly they say never meet your heroes but Roddy Roddy Piper was everthing and more I could of hoped he would be!

He started off telling a story about how he got involved in wrestling at the age of 15 and living in YMCA's in Canada to learning the bagpipes and his first match with Larry the Ax.

He then went on to tell his first road story traveling with Mad Dog Vachon.

It was an amazing evening all told.

The one pain in the ass for most people there was about three lads trying to get themselves over interrupting Roddy mid sentence and distracting him instead of just listening to him tell his stories.

Those kind of dicks make it embarrassing to be a wrestling fan at times...
Mad I missed it though, sounds like it was class
