Bought this one for €10 about a month back. Great for the price. Not too cheap looking and is very sturdy.

The mad bastard using a table as a TV unit.

    I use one of these,

With a divider removed so it holds the AV, blue ray and horizon box

I use one of those as a 3-level shoe stand, very handy in a wardrobe :)

Why do IKEA and others sell so many non transparent units - dont they know almost all remote devices you would want put in there use InfraRed? - you either need have all the boxes exposed on the top or have the doors open.

They should start making cabinets them from really dark colours but ir transparent glass and have big vents at the back for ps3/xbox - for real world usage.

    just saying :)

Some of their media units do have vents at the back.

I have one of these and have an Xbox360, HDR1000S Sat Tuner, and a BluRay player all sitting perfectly in the two slots under the TV.

It has vents at the back for cables as I'm pretty sure all IKEA TV units do
