Are you driving ? If not you're driving then you're kinda stuck in the middle of nowhere really.

    How nearby?
Walking distance or a short drive?

If driving, there's a few nice places to eat around swords and the pavillions shopping centre, not great but grand for a bit of browsing.

Malahide is only a couple of minutes drive and nice for a stroll about and has some decent shops/restaurants. If it's a nice day a drive to malahide and then a walk along the coast towards Portmarnock is a decent way to spend an hour or two.

I wouldn't really call Bewleys hotel "Swords" as it's completely out of the way, nearer the N32/M50 motorways.

If you are driving, retake the road the airport shuttle bus takes (or ask reception) to go to the Pavilions shopping center. That's in the middle of swords and there are shops/restaurants all around there.

You could see pj Jones cutting cabbage, or in a year or two a waste water treatment plant, or look at the cars on tge motor way. Could wander down to Clarehall, bit of a dodgy walk by darndale. And this is on the border of fingal Dublin county north so maybe ask it in the city trend too.

Afraid not, think you would have to get a taxi. Or get the airport shuttle and get a 41 or 102 bus from there to swords.

nothing at all nearby I am afraid. Taxi to pavillions probably going to be 15 quid too..I would imagine...

Depends on how much time you are trying to kill but maybe just get the free transfer bus from Bewleys to airport then hop on any bus to city centre or swords, there is also a service to Malahide / Portmarnock.

The 102 will bring you into Swords from the airport.

102 is dandy, no harm to save the following link to your phone http://hittheroad.ie/ , it's very handy to see up to date info for what buses go where and when :)

you forgot there is watching planes taking off or landing at the airport or you could count the eddie stobart trucks on the fly over from the M1 onto the M50
