Digital Camera not responding

    Hi folks,

I originally posted this in the electromics forum but was advised to post here instead.

I've got a Yakumo CamMaster SD482 from about 2006 which had a dead battery that I managed to revive but now when I turn on the camera the screen lights up and a led comes on but nothing else happens. The screen remains lit up but blank and the device does not respond in any way to any of the buttons. I can't even shut it off again without removing the battery.

I don't have a manual for it as it does not belong to me ,but a family member. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about them to get it working again.

I had a look to see if there was a reset hole that I could jam a pin into but there isn't one.

Is there a key combination to reset it or anything inside it even that can be tweaked. Connecting to a laptop with USB cable does nothing either.

Google threw up nothing other than sites form which to buy more of them!

    Any ideas, Cheers
