Wise Dan has won 10 Grade 1s as well as ammasing well over 5million prize money.

Variety club is a quality horse but he has won 4 grade 1s and not even a million in prize money. There is no question who is the best miler and the time and form figures back this up.

    Great horse though!

Running in SA prize money in grade races is bad.ill tell u right now he will win the breeders mile.no horse will touch him this year before he retires.

Perhaps but the standard of milers compared to the US is also worse. But he won that race well this morning. Im not sure Dan will be at his best this year as a 7yo but if they both make it there it will be an interesting race.

Many more in SA that nobody will ever see due to the bullsh** export protocols.

Im just not sure Wise Dan would be beaten by a horse of the likes of Shuruq over a mile in any circumstances. So i have my doubts. But time reveals all as they say. Would be great if he got to the breeders.

Put a scratch thru that race with shuruq, bad run by anton.id wager wise dan won't be within a length of VC

We will see i dont think Dan will be at his brilliant best this year as a 7yo who has seen plenty of racing.

Is that definitely Variety Club's main aim? If so will he be put away for the summer. I would be fairly wary backing a horse who will be on the go since Jan/Feb in a breeders cup race.
