Can't open 07 landcruiser

    Hi folks kinda stuck out in the hills with our landcruiser. The keyfob is lighting up when pressed but jeep wont open. Can open door manually with key either! Any ideas before brick through window! Cheers

    Probably the wiring loom in the door has been cut in an attempted break in, thieves use a hacksaw blade to cut the wiring between the door hinge. You should be able to open the passenger door or perhaps boot door? Was the vehicle double locked?

    Far as I remember irish spec doesn't have double locking, try some oil on the key.

    This isn't going to help you but maybe the part with breaking a window.
    I once went for a walk in the Galway docks got back to car and found I had lost my key so got a rock and smashed a small back window, and luckily I had a spare key left in the car or I would have been stuck there.
    If you cannot get it open brick through the window is your best option. Break the smallest window if there is one on them yokes, cheapest to fix.
