Have a synology nas running dsm5 sitting behind a freshly installed vodafone huawei fibre router. Had the standard eircom DSL broadband product up until friday & it worked fine. Since Friday, have been unable to access the has from outside since, the NAS cannot read any settings from the router, unable to set up quick…

Anyone got any experience getting through one of these routers or advice on settings I may be missing? Many thanks

To set up Quickconnect through EZ-Internet your router has to support UPnP, otherwise you'll have to manually set up all the necessary port forwarding rules on your yourself. Usually there'll be an option to enable UPnP, but I don't know the Huawei router so don't know where the option will be, you'll just have to root around in the setup menu.
