I'm becoming sick and tired of listening to the news and ads on Irish TV and Radio.
If you don't pay this tax you could go to Prison , If you don't pay that Charge you're not patriotic.
FF screwed us up the ass and FG and labour are making us pay for it all.
I've literally had a sick stomach when they've come to my door in the last few weeks, all the usual bolix ..........Fianna Fail say we've learned our lesson vote for us.......FG say we're cleaning up FF's mess ...vote for us. Sinn Fein say vote for us we're a new option......FN Hell

Is it just me or does anyone else see that our freedoms are being eroded bit by bit in this country ?
Remember the Nixer ? A dirty word nowdays but a part of our character,
Under Labour and FG the amount of people jailed for non payment of TV licence
has gone from 50 something average per year to 470 something per year.....Way to go guys what a good job you're doing.........Just be sure to screw us more to make sure the Bankers are paid their 400 grand plus a year.....because that's what the contract says they should be paid. If we object trot out the usual suspects on RTE or TV3 who will scare us into thinking that the nobody will ever invest here because we didn't honour our contracts to these people.
We used to be a rebellious ,free,Fun,Spirited, people ....now we're becoming the poster nation of Europe.......We are effectively coming to a stage where we are being taxed by a meter for every time we flush after a piss or ****.
Our kids are useless ........The braindead X-Box or Playstation generation.
If you agree please reply and articulate more effectively than me.
DON'T VOTE NEXT WEEK AND ASK EVERYONE YOU KNOW NOT TO VOTE.....That's how i feel
Please don't get sucked in by what the Politicians that come to your door tell you.....if you tell them you'll vote for them they walk away and think "sucker" thats Irish politics......

Taxes need to be paid to provide services. No taxes means no services. If no one paid their TV licence, rte wouldn't function. If you don't want to pay a TV licence, then don't have a TV.

A nixer is generally tax evasion. If everyone evaded taxes we would no revenue to provide pensions etc. Not paying your taxes is unacceptable end of

This generation is far smarter than any generation before. They are more educated and have their own views and values. They don't accept the norms of Irish society eg views on welfare religion

Listen here you little shiit. I'm a full time gamer and I'm not "brain dead" don't be a clown. You're reading crap about consoles eroding the mind, we'll if people who play video games are brain dead why am I smart? I'd like to also point out, studies show that people with dyslexia and learning impairments, who play video games daily, increase concentration which then helps the become more intelligent. **** the rest of the bollox you said, I'm sick of arseholes like you saying anyone who plays video games is some brain dead **** wit who couldn't wipe their arses with a YouTube tutorial. God you are a simple twat. Can I report that post for how stupid it is??

Yes, yes, yes... but... people died so you could vote.

Vote for someone who isn't a scumbag or run for election yourself. People died so you could have the chance to do that too in a free society.

I'm going to forebear to comment, apart from noting that the OP doesn't pass quality control, and perhaps as a result the comments hardly bring the standard up.

    moderately,
