    Hi all,
I hope someone may shed some light on this for me.
My daughters dad asked me today for a daughters pps no and her full address.when I asked him what was it for he said that he was renewing his medical card form and they asked for it?
My daughter is a medical card holder wirh me in another county and we only renewed ours in October but I dont remeber seeing any questions like that only towards our situation not my expartners. It has me a bit worried to be honest as to why he wanted it,I havent given it to hin yet until I seen if anyone been asker for it before.
Could it be because he pays her mainteance maybe and it would have to be declared on the outgoings section?

Very likely. Why don't you get hold of a form and find out for yourself?

Is he her legal guardian. If so, he would be entitled to access her PPSN without any input from you. What is it your worried about?

Many reasons he might need it e.g had to bring her to dentist etc

There is many ways he can get it without asking you .
to be fair its really none of your concern what he is needing it for if he is a guardian.

you don't have more rights over pps number than him..

two choices here, give it freely and with kindness
or don't and question why ..and get caught in a swirl of needless stress worry anxiety about nothing..

OP just had a peep and you say on another thread that your ex has a history of violence. Do you have a protection order? If so he's not supposed to contact you. He has other ways to get his daughters PPSN. Be safe and care full.

Protection order does not mean he can not contact her.

Just give him the pps no, whats the big deal?

that is a whole lot of stress and worry in that post ..

I'm struggling to comprehend what protection order, history of violence has to do with the question?

could it be op has had different partners?

i think the internet has become the new garden gate…

    good luck op …
