    Hi there

I have a horrid taste in my mouth when I apply suction to some of my teeth. Its not food, I floss regularly. Im getting a crown in that area and have the temporary one in at the moment. When using a mirror I notice a tiny brown spot on the side of a premolar. As my dentist was working in that area of my mouth ide imagine he would have said if I needed a filling no? is it true that such taste can be decaying pulp? Or is that urban legend?

    any thoughts
