Sram Red medium cage rear mech query

I'm running a 12/27 cassette with the above, and am wondering whats the lowest gear cassette I can use with it. I was hoping to put a 12/30 on it, but I think I may need to fit a wifli rear mech as well and that's just too expensive. Any advise would be appreciated. I'm doing the Santini Gran Fondo in 4 weeks time, which includes the Mortirolo and Stelvio climbs, and I don't believe my current cassette, along with compact chain rings will be enough to get over the climbs.

I got a 12-30 on mine. So long as the chain has enough length you should be fine.
