Importing from China - TAX and DUTY ?

    Hi All,

    Sorry if this is the wrong thread.

    I'm thinking of importing some computer components from China. About $400's worth - Shipping is about $40 to Dublin.


    Does anyone know what Customs will charge for tax/duty ?

    Good afternoon,

    In principle most computer components are zero rated from a Customs duty point of view. VAT is charged @ 23%
