I live in a terraced house, there is one chimney which services both the sitting room and dining room fireplaces, they are back to back. I have a dream to install a double sided stove where the fireplaces are now. So that would heat the sitting room and dining room simultaneously. It would not have a back boiler in it. Does anyone know what the cost of demolishing the old fire places and installing a new double sided stove and the difficulty levels of doing this? Thanks

There is a lot of work involved and you really need some one who has done it before. I recently done a heating upgrade to a house in Deansgrange and the home owner got the double fronted stove and it looks great.

I can certainly get details for you if you wish.

I would be interested in finding out what kind of price I would be looking at to get this done. Thanks. Do you have pictures of the job you did in Deansgrange?
