Interested in this as well. Can pick them up now for small money. Are they heavy on juice? They are insured as a 2.7 l car. I done a quick quote and it came in at 630

I'm selling mine at the moment. They are great cars but are quite heavy on petrol. 18-24 mpg. I have the 2006 231bhp exclusive. I wouldn't go near the 192bhp as the saving would be minuscule. They don't use that much oil. I have put in 5 litres in the year of ownership along with two oil and filter changes. Get it compression tested before buying if you can.

04/05 make sure they have the upgraded starter. People go on about them being very unreliable well mine hasn't let me down once. Starts on the button every time.

    Any other questions?

Interesting.... I may be in touch over the phone. I've looked at two myself, though I've been trying to stick to dealer cars for the time being.

Planning on getting one of these my self during the summer, I've been looking at the PZ version, there are a couple on sale over in the UK.

Do a search on here for them and you'll get plenty of advice, some of it good. Also try www.irishrotary.com and www.rx8ownersclub.co.uk too. Expect them to need new coils every 30k, use lots of fuel, a little oil and only drive them on good tyres not ditch finders. Also the cat collapses on them (mostly due to knackered coils) and strangles the motor. I have decatted mine now. Even the 231 struggles to make 190hp (Mazda lied about the output) so they're not as quick as most hot hatches but they'll never stick with the Rx on a dry twisty road. '06 on have a bigger starter motor which aids starting. Also I'd get a comp check done before buying. The car in the above link looks good to me.

For me you need to be somewhat capable with cars to own one but that in mind mine has been one of the most reliable cars I've owned.
