Strange flying beetle (never seen this guy before)

    Hi all,

    found this beetle in my bedroom earlier flying around at the light...any idea what type he is?

    Big stinger on him, dont think the pic quite captures it

    Any info would be great, thanks in advance

    That my friend is a Cockchafer beetle.. Or May Bug.. Don't worry, despite his big ass stinger he's absolutely harmless. His larva will eat your plants mind :P
