Has anyone signed up to ipsos, from what I can gather they are a market research company that get you to send on letters and log when you do it on a computer in return for some form of vouchers sometime....
I received a letter this week with a weird thing in it that says 'tracker'. Currently scared I am being spied on.

Yeah I did it. You can be either a dropper or a receiver and in return you get €200 to €250 in one for all vouchers throughout the year. Each letter comes with a transponder in it so they can track the letters. I felt like I was in No Country for Old Men as a dropper. I hope this is what you are talking about as in the Irish Postal Study. I got dumped for not dropping on time.

Does one require a lady friend to participate?

This was the terminology they used to describe the role. It could be a lady or gentleman in either role. I was a dropper and those who got the mail from me were receivers. Whoever designed the study was having a laugh.:)

I would prefer to be a dropper over a receiver.

No mine were all within Ireland, perhaps it's a new study.
