Thank you for your help in advance. I appreciate the answers you may provide.

I'm a single mom. I have been out of work for 7 months. I'm receiving 202.00 per week at the moment.

I'm living in a rented house with my 6 years old son. My rent 1200/ month and bills come out from my saving. I never applied for rent allowance, I always think I would find a suitable job soon but it has been 7 months and I realised I am in trouble, I don't have much money left in my saving.

My boyfriend asked me to move in with him. He is earning over 120.000 a year. So if I'm moving in with him, would the social welfare stop paying me?

I still hope to have support from social welfare until I get a job while living with my boyfriend because I don't want to 100% depend on him.

Trish is that 202.00 One Parent Family Payment?
Whatever you do you must tell Social Welfare if you move in with your boyfriend, or if he moves in with you. If you don'tinform them they will make you pay back the money when they find out.
If it doesn't work out with you and him you can go back on SW if you move out again.
You can't have a SW allowance if your partner earns more than €2500 per week. You don't need any money.

If you have sufficient prsi paid you could go on Unemployment benefit which isn't means tested and lasts for 9 months.
