Design internships in Dublin?

Hi guys, I was wondering how this works. Anyone here did GD internships? Was it a good experience? I know you're supposed to receive Jobseeker's Allowance for 3 months before, and have a degree in design, but apart from that I was wondering how hard is this to get? Thanks. :)
