Saddle/Seatpost creak?

Hey lads, so I took my BB off recently because I thought it was shot, had a look at it and it's actually grand, probably needed a tighten so I banged it back on and gave it a good tighten and she's grand now.

Anyway, now I've noticed there's a creaking coming from the saddle and/or seatpost when I peddle. I have a carbon wrapped seatpost and I'm thinking I might have over tightened it or something? I don't have a torque wrench but I guess I could get my hands on one handy enough if I ask around nicely.

Anyone have any idea what sort of troque I should have it tightened to? Also, anyone know where the best/cheapest place to pick up Anti-Seize paste or something similar would be?

Saddle rails sometimes creak. Apply a bit of grease to the rails and maybe drop some lube in to the place where the rails join the saddle.

If you can wait bikecomponents.de sell carbon paste in sachets of c2ml enough fir a single use I'd imagine fir 2 euros
Edit: tacx assembly paste. Beats buying a huge jar. Tho I used phil wood grease for carbon post in a steel ss frame back in 2008 and it's worked out fine with lotta city miles and harsh treatment since

You need to clean out the seat tube of the frame as dirt and grit sometimes make their way in through the slot at the rear of the frame. Then as slap/dash suggests use either tacx assembly paste or finish line fibre grip. Do not use ordinary grease or Anti-seize paste (white Shimano or Finish line version which is like copper grease) with carbon seat posts. Tighten the seat collar to 5Nm and you should be good to go.

So in the hopes of solving it, I took my saddle off and greased up the rails as well as putting some oil in the slots where they go into the frame, also put some grease under the little pivot thingy that moves as you adjust the pitch (it's the sort of seatpost with 2 bolts), hopefully it solves it, I'll report back tomorrow.

Would save me having to buy paste and find a torque wrench.

Also adjusted the pitch with a spirit level so that its more flat as I've noticed recently it was actually pretty dipped at the front.

Sorry for dropping into your post Seaneh but the subject is related. Tacx paste was used when fixing my saddle height, carbon post in carbon frame. Trouble is now I can't move it at all and I need to drop the saddle a fraction. I don't want to push and pull too hard in case I damage something(new bike..). It's an aero seat post so can't rotate it. Clues?

Is there a metal shim betweenbthe collar and the post? Sounds like the post might have fused to the shim?
