    Hi I know this has probably been asked a thousand times on this site but I can't seem to find an answer,last September I was made redundant and have been on Job seekers benefit since,I got a letter a few weeks ago to say that was coming to an end and I was going to be means test for job seekers allowance,I live with my boyfriend who is self employed but doesn't earn much....He's on €350 a week,does anyone know the cut off point for the means test? am very worried because I can't find a job and we will really struggle on his money a lone,any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

    Your means assessment will be sent to a social welfare inspector as your partner is self employed. You will have to furnish his most up to date accounts for the inspector to assess means.
