More boybands, especially ones who have no musical talent but nice hair.

Been a real shortage of that lately.

someone with genuine raw talent and creative magic, Elvis,Freddie Mercury,David Bowie,Michael Jackson, who is on that level today?

no need to bring back a trend, you can make music in any style as long as its good, the main reason shouldn't be for it to sound like a certain time period

90s goth metal, pure gothic, the gothic metal scene now is being taken over by hipsters with black hair

    Like My Dying Bride?

Or Paradise Lost back when they were still good?

Or even Anathama when they didn't want to be Radiohead?

I could get into a resurgence of that kinda thing :D

I was thinking more like Theatre of Tragedy.
Lacuna Coil even have turned into a radio friendly sort of band.

I saw Paradise Lost a few months ago, they done nothing for me at all, there was one good song though with female vocals in the background.

I'd have been married a long time ago if it hadn't been for that song.

Music promoted as the art form it used to be rather than as the fashion accessory/commodity it has become.

Glad to see Yoko Ono didn't give up the bongo drum, and added chainsaws into the mix as well.

I'd love for instrumental predominant music to receive more exposure and popularity...every pop/rock record is a rehash of the same sh*te and although the Avicii Calvin Harris stuff is desperate unless you're locked, stuff like house, chill music, lowkey dubstep is great stuff and deserves for popularity even though it is getting some decent exposure in recent years.

    John Spilliane.
    I mean from this decade

    One Direction are huge

    Lady Gaga too

both are just marketed products with very little innovation, they obviously have talent, but not the magic that a true superstar has
