    Hi folks,
Am looking to get componeers, if anyone knows of dentists in Dublin who are good at them please send me a PM. Is it worth going to a prostodontist for these or would a general dentist be OK?

    Thanks a mill

If you ask for componeers, that is a very technical term, it might not be familiar to everyone , shop around your area and ask local dentists how much do they charge it should range from 250-380/tooth

The other thing is ask about their diagnostic process how they determine you are suitable, and ask them to show good quality photos of their work and also ask if they use magnification (minimum of dental loupes, if they say they use a microscope then perfect :) ) while doing the work . I personally wouldnt be happy to be having anybody placing a componeer on my teeth under the naked eye

I have seen good work done under magnification and without, I have seen terrible work done under magnification and without. The accessories are irrelevant.

maybe I should have phrased it as it should be someone who knows how to use the magnification as it is intended to :) .I for myself will not do any procedure without loupes, bigger cases are done under the microscope. People who dont use magnification appropriately are doing themselves and their customers a disservice IMHO
