Fixing a Hanns-G monitor - worth it or better to just bin it?

    Hi everyone.
Don't know what to do with this one. I have a Hanns-G LCD Monitor (HL198 model) .. or easier yet here is an amazon link.

It took a knock and landed on something hard so the screen is busted. Shows an array of crazy colours. So I guess the question I am asking is, is it worth to fix it?

Monitor probably sells for around 115-130 brand new or there abouts. So is it worth it? or just throw it in the bin?
I've tried to search google but any repairs I see are just power repairs.

    Cheers.

would only consider if it you could source parts for it (cheaply!), and knew what to do yourself.. I imagine a repair place would be looking for close what the cost of a new one would be to fix it

not really worth it for a 19" 1440x900 monitor imo..

If you can't find anywhere that'll fix it stick it up on adverts, there'#s always someone that'll wanna try and fix it for themselves, at elast you might get something for it.
