    Their might be a stand at the next ploughing match or horse fair. Those leather hats tend to be sold in horse riding and hunting stores. I'v not see a 'cowboy' style one but the Australian cattleman's style (think Crocodile Dundee) is common enough. Just don't go for the bushman one with the corks.

    You should check out the hat shop in St Stephens Green Shopping Centre. It's on the ground floor, near the back, but in one of the "middle" stores.
