Keloid scarring horror

    Hello,
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum I didn't know where else to look!

I am an 18 year old Irish male and I got surgery 2 months ago on a cyst on my chest that I've had for years. The procedure went well, and I got the stitches removed 11 days later. It was a bit infected so I was on an antibiotic for a week to help clear it up. With no results, I returned to the doctors the next week and to my horror discovered that a stitch had been left in my recovering wound. The skin had to be broken to take out the stitch and recovery had to start all over again. Today, I returned to the doctor as the site is still inflamed and infected, and the doctor said I have keloid scarring. I do not know what to do or who I can talk to about this or if I have any case against the nurse who forgot to take one of my stitches out. Please help!
