First up tonight is Man City hosting Chelsea and it's LIVE. Coverage on SkySports 1 starts 7pm.

    Man City's Profile

    BU21PL leading scorers
    12 Jordy Hiwula
    7 Devante Cole
    6 Marcos Lopes, Seko Fofana

    BU21PL leading appearances
    21 Jordy Hiwula
    20 Sinan Bytyqi, Seko Fofana
    19 Ian Lawlor
    18 Shay Facey

    Usual formation
    4-3-3.

    Usual style of play
Those familiar with City's first-team's style of play will find the Under-21s' approach immediately recognisable. Free-flowing attacking football with incisive approach play, overlapping full-backs and high-intensity pressing is the fulcrum of Vieira's philosophy.

    Chelsea's Profile

    BU21PL leading scorers
    11 Lewis Baker
    9 John Swift
    8 Isaiah Brown

    BU21PL leading appearances
    21 John Swift
    20 Lewis Baker
    19 Andreas Christensen, Islam Feruz
    17 Nathan Ake, Isaiah Brown

    Usual formation
    4-3-3.

    Usual style of play
Chelsea's younger sides play in a similar style to the first team, with possession football central to the ethos of the Academy. Dermot Drummy's side tend to begin in a 4-3-3 with the three midfielders interchanging positions regularly, while pace and creativity from the flanks are in no short supply.

That Chelsea U21 side is very good, some very good prospect in the squad, even if none of them play for the 1st team.

Baker has featured for the 1st team, Kalas too.

Brown has a big future ahead of him and Swift is a very good player too.

Kiyouma is another bright prospect for this side.

Would be interesting to see how much those City and Chelsea under 21 sides were bought for.

Only have time to follow Utd U21s so looking forward to seeing other top U21 teams this evening and tomorrow night.

Man City have a Dublin lad... Jack Byrne. Would he be playing. He's 18 yrs old - would he make this squad!

Saw him at a Kennedy Cup way back for DDSL.

The Chelsea players in the current U21s that cost money, that I can think of is Christensen, Musonda, Brown and Feruz.

No idea how much was spent though.

Jack Byrne isn't apart of the elite development squad AFAIK. Hes still in the academy squad.

Good game that. Chelsea deserved to go through. Had more and better chances in the game.

They'll be at home for the final due to finishing first in the league.
