BMW E60 brakes issue

If I let my car freewheel down the driveway it feels as if the brakes are holding slightly and the car will eventually stop as if the handbrake was slightly applied. I changed the pads recently but this issue was there before that, it doesn't feel like its holding back while driving, nor does it sound like any brakes are sticking. any ideas?

As far as I know the e60 has a 'start assist' to stop the car rolling back on starting.
I experience the same thing - my driveway is slightly inclined and it feels like the brakes are slightly 'on' when rolling back down it.
This is my 2nd e60 and I have had the same experience with both.
