    Hi all,

Can anyone advise of any companies/person who can service roof mounted tubular solar panels in Donegal? We had them installed and they now need a service and there is also a small issue with an alarm which is currently going off. The company who did the install is no longer in business, can anyone help?

    Thanks

Hi there, we are thinking of installing solar panels, I'm wondering if you recommend them, there seems to be alot of pros and cons on here and now I am very confused. Are they worthwhile? How often do they need to be serviced and how much does a service cost? Thanks

Hollywood, you've stated elsewhere you have not yet carried out a BER assessment.
can you confirm which version of part L of building Regs your house must comply with? (this may depend on the planning/commencement date) and what you intend doing to comply with the renewable energy obligations?
If you dont know the answer you need to employ an energy assessor with BER capabilities preferably an architect that can deal with your insulation/air-tightness requirements also.

edit: i suggest this because you may be obliged to install either solar or some form of renewable. apart from that your questions are vague and best answered with an energy demand calculated
