tooth abscess without the pain?!

I have had an ongoing infection in one tooth (6months) and I'm now on my 3rd round of penicillin on the final day and the tooth is just getting worse. My symptoms are a swollen gland under the chin, 2 large bumps on the gum above the tooth, mildly swollen cheek, the tooth is loose and has dropped down low so that when I close my mouth it only closes on the infected one. I also feel dizzy and almost pass out every time I stand up.

However there isn't much pain this time just an urge to clench on it, its bizarre! I've looked up my symptoms and they seem to point to an absessed tooth where the root may have died although I don't think its that bad.

Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and what route they took with treatment? As well as this I have a recurring bald patch on my tongue which is quite big now - not geographic tongue but similar. Can't figure it out! Anyways would appreciate people's experience with the above, feeling a little bewildered and fed up at this stage.
