    Hello,

I'm just wondering will there be a Chinese language course for Transition Year next year ( 2014/2015)? There is currently Chinese this year for the TYs in my school. And also, is it optional to participate or a have to?

    Thanks

It depends solely on your school. Every school is different and there's no set rules.

I know in my year, we had the option of doing Chinese (it was put on a band of classical studies, art, history investigations and music composition).

You'll find out at the start of next year/end of this year.

Just so you're aware Chinese isn't a subject for the Leaving Cert!
