You'll spot them a mile away, they're all over priced and no real effort is being made to sell them!

If you do find a NAMA house that you like and manage to go sale agreed on it , be prepared for a long haul sale process. From experience and other postings here, expect delays, delays, delays in getting your purchase over the line ie getting the keys ! Friends of ours have been waiting 4 months now since sale agreed and still no sign of the contract from the vendor/liquidator ! Much longer waits for NAMA properties are posted in these fora if you look around. Good luck with the house hunting but be ready for long waits etc if you're buying a property being sold through a liquidator and requiring NAMA approval !

Thats a commercial unit, it currently has a tenant, but may be of interest, given the relatively high ROI.

NAMA properties are regularly more expensive than comparative properties on the market- they have no *need* to sell them. Note- NAMA have very very few residential properties in the Wicklow/Dublin/Kildare/Meath area- the vast majority of their properties are commercial and office developments. Their annual report gives a good indication of this. Most of their residential units that they have left- are not in the greater Dublin area, and never were.

A new sign just went up here today for 122 dwellings to be sold via NAMA, that's the Lucan area...they will probably be on that site mid July -August.

In South Dublin- Cherrywood area- the largest ever residential development site was sold today by NAMA too- EUR380m was achieved. SDCC and DLRD have agreed to fastrack planning for the area. Depending on densities- this could potentially be 140,000 dwellings delivered by 2035. It already has a Luas connection, and is on the M50- so looking good........

Any details on who bought it?

No idea- it was split into several tranches though apparently- the largest 400 acre tranche having a 300m price tag. Apparently it was a former Liam Carroll property. Ikea were going to build here previously- but I think this was nuked this week.
