    You'll pick up Saorview anyway.For that you will need, at a minimum, an aerial in your attic, but preferably that aerial should be outside, in order to guarantee best reception.

    For Freeview you will need an aerial pointed at one of the UK-based masts.

    Freeview is the UK terrestrial service, the Irish equivalent is Saorview. That TV doesn't seem to be Saorview approved, though I would be surprised if it didn't give trouble-free operation with Saorview.

    A set-top type aerial might get you satisfactory Saorview reception, though I wouldn't bother with an amplified one like that in your link. I can't post links but Argos have a 'One For All Periodic Amplified Indoor TV Aerial' (should be 'Log-Periodic'), & it's something like that I would be looking at, though without the amplifier.

    In Dublin area, I think the best advice would be to forget about Freeview, even if there is some chance of reception, & go with satellite instead for UK services. A Freesat receiver would be ideal in that case.
