    Folks,

Just wondering how long does an adjustment to your handicap take to appear on Golfnet or How Did I Do from playing away from home club in open comps.

It can easily be several days, needs communication between clubs and your handicap secretary is a volunteer who most likely is not at the club every day!

Does entering the score for the round on the computer not expedite the process. ?

Just be aware you need to apply the cut yourself, even before your handicap is adjusted on golfnet...

No, can and does take a week as outlined by previous poster, what I do is take my cuts into account and ignore any 0.1's and override the system handicap when logging into any competition via GUI number...

I've found it to vary wildly macker. Last year I played one where the score was up that night, and another I played took the guts of 2 weeks to come through

Whats your home course? The missus is from Trim, so I play a bit up that direction...

Home course is Grange Castle as I work nearby and used to live in Clondalkin. Some nice courses down here in Meath and was considering a change this year.

IMO Trim is the best served place in Ireland with regard to top notch golf courses. Within 25 mins you have County Meath, Knightsbrook, Kileen Castle, Headford Old/New, Rathcore & Kilcock

My score from the Tuesday open in Lucan was updated yesterday morning. The CSS on the day was 36

The year has started well and will hopefully continue in the same manner. I hope the handicap will fall in line with more consistent play.

Do be kidding me about the tips :o:o as I have a long way to go before I reach your standard of play.
