Saorview on Sony Bravia??

    I've cancelled Sky as don't really watch much tv, just netflix, any progs i want i DL.

    Now was going to get a Saorview box but have been told by someone that i can tune into the channels via the dvb on my Sony Bravia tv, is this true as have no idea?

    Depends on the year and model. I've a Samsung which is a few years old and works perfectly on Saorview with external aerial.

    Some older sony models are dvb-Mpeg2 which is the english equivalent called freeview what model no is your tv??

    Or when you press digital if you get a black screen with a blue line across the top with white and yellow writing this is the older model and will not give you Saorview...

    You will also require an aerial to be erected somewhere on your home and a cable brought to the tv to receive Saorview unless you are in close proximately to a transmitter in which case an indoor aerial may be suffice.

    Well its the older model so you will need both a saorview box and aerial.....if u turn the tv around there will be a sticker on the back with the model no...
