Going to Tenerife next week, 2 adults and 4 year old boy. Just wondering how costly it'll be over there.

We plan on going to Siam park, Aqua Park and the Monkey park.
We'll be eating out every day.
Having a few drinks most nights, but nothing major.
We don't plan on doing any shopping over there. Just wondering would 1500e cover the 3 of us for the week.

    Hi Jay,

In terms of food & drink, there are bars & restaurants for all budgets. I'm not sure exactly where you are staying. I usually stay in along the beachfront between Las Americas & Los Cristianos. Around this area, there are restaurants where you can eat at very reasonable prices. There are bars too with beers are €1.50

If you look at this one on tripadvisor, I am talking about places in & around this area, but I am sure that you will find them all over. There is big competition there for customers, so this helps keep the prices down.

We would also go to the supermarket and get fresh bread, ham, tomatoes etc... and take these to the beach for lunch. You will pay a bit more in the tourist supermarkets. If you go to the bigger ones such as the Mercadona, you will pay a lot less.

Anywhere around the safari centre is great but probably dearer but cheaper than here . It's hard to advice a figure as everyone spends differently, I generally don't hold back on holidays but it's possible to get by on very little in tenerife
I would advise loro parque (same owners as Siam) it's a full day trip where you see orca and dolphin shows.
It's in the north of the island bus takes 11/2 hours
As said safari centre has a lot of great restaurants plus a new Hard Rock Cafe
If you need to know anything go on trip advisor forum there's nothing onelegnofeet doesn't know about tenerife

    1500 should be plenty

At most 50-60e per day on food, 40 or 50 on drinks and then you have a few hundred do other things.

Just bring a bank card in case you needed more but would be very surprised if you get through 1500.
