Hi, I've a mini break booked for myself to take in the World War I sites of Northern France/Belgium, I'll be staying in Yprés but at the moment am struggling to get any accommodation there.

Has anyone any experience of staying there and might know some nice hostels/b&b's etc. I'm going solo from 6th July to 9th July, travelling by bicycle so kinda need to stay central enough

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks in advance!

The only place I know is the three leopards on the edge of town.

You have Lille down the road which has a massive selection of hotels. I found Ypres a fairly dull town even finding something to eat was a challenge there after 6pm. Other than seeing the fireman's guard at the arche in the evening not much else to do or see. Stay in Lille or Bruges and just do a day trip to it.
