    Hi everyone,

Very long time lurker, first time poster D:

So, at the moment, I'm a student that's about to complete a PLC course with the hope of getting into uni in September.
I'm hoping to get a job this summer (looking very intently). The problem is that my mother is on rent supplement so she only works a few hours and tops up the rest of the rent herself. I also have two younger siblings and a older brother, who doesn't work, that's also about to complete his masters (so thats a lot of money that's required to take care of us).
I hate having to ask her for money for everything that I want to do, I like the feeling of having my own money (I've worker part time before for a very short period of time)

So my question is, if I were to acquire a job during the summer, will the rent supplement be affected in a big way. Like would they suddenly stop it, with us being unable to pay our house rent.

So sorry this is on the long side,it's just that I'd like to have more info on this before hopefully getting a job. so I don't put my family in any type of jeopardy!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks :)
