Japanese Maple height and spreads

    Hi,

    I was wondering if anyone could advise on mature height and spread on these varieties of Jap maple acer. I've searched online but different sites give very different sizes on the same tree, some describing mature height as 5ft while others describe mature heights of 25ft for the same variety and lots are inbetween the two suggesting 12ft / 20ft etc. I was also wondering if any 2 or 3 in particular were more hardy than the others.
