Hi guys, i a know that if you want German FTA channels you would use 19.2, However I have mine sat dish pointed at 28.2. I am wondering does anybody know of any German stations that can be picked up from 28.2? as I don't want to move the dish. i have used kingofsat.net and tried some of the freqs for the German stations but I keep getting UK ones instead. Im sure there is an overlap on the freqs. or maybe I am just scanning them in wrong!

ok thanks, is there any way to get them then? i.e. the tail end of a 19.2 signal that might allow you some channels if your pointed at 28.2?

add extra LNB +diseqc switch only reasonable solution

Last summer I hooked up a lnb with duct tape alongside the sky LNB, and it picked up 19.2e no problem at all!

It really is quite easy to do, might not look great but it works!

To give you an idea, (not mine!)

Satellite doesn't work that way sadly. They are too far apart.

if you want to hear German for educational reasons, Euronews on 28.2E has a German soundtrack (as well as a number of other languages as well as English), just change it on your remote control

More LNBs to catch off-axis signals, already mentioned above.

I was talking about a 1 lnb system. Had 4 working on my own dish so know that's possible.

you didn't mention what receiver you have. if its a skybox no matter what you do with the dish, lnbs and diseqc you won't get 19.2.

Couldn't you get some German TPs with a Sky box, those that have parameters that fit with what's available in "other channels"?

Use a manual A/B switch in place of DiSEqC.
