    Hi guys,

For the last number of weeks I've been getting the same ads on every second or third tab I open, so I'm assuming it's some kind of adware.. Any tips on how to remove it? I'm using Google Chrome on OS X 10.8.5. I have no browser extensions. boards.ie won't let me post images so I can't post what comes up in my browser all the time..

    Thanks

Can you use some other picture site like photobucket or something and share the link?
Also, does the same thing happen in Safari or in Safeboot?

If you're logged in to Google then your profile and browsing habits are used to focus ads towards you. If there's an option for Private Browsing then try that and see what happens. If that doesn't stop the ads then it's possible you have some form of infection. There is a Flash exploit that I've experienced where ads pop up from the sides or bottom of a web page.

As suggested above try to post a capture of your browser so we can see what you see.
