Kitchen Floor subsidence

    Hi,

The kitchen in my house was moved to a different room before I bought it.

The floor boards don't seem to be well supported in places and this has lead to the floor 'bending' under the heavyish cooker.

I'm thinking of moving out the cooker, cutting into the boards, jacking up the floor around it, then adding new supports and replacing the floor and cooker.

I don't want to have to move the entire kitchen and replace the entire floor.

So - is this the right procedure?

Where would I get the screw jacks for this, I haven't been able to find them? It's a ground floor kitchen, so they don't need to be long.

Any ideas and suggestions and help greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!
    - Al.
