    Proflex Beast K2.

Have recently been given one of these, seems like a good if not dated bike, was thinking of doing some upgrades, maybe lighten the load a bit as its quite heavy! Great stock wheels and gear setup. Has anybody any experience with this model?

Be grand for a little bit of messing around on trails, not much more than that though to be honest. Spec for the time was a mixed back, vbreaks instead of hydraulic was a bit of a letdown but the groupset and wheels were decent.
The Suspension forks and rear shock are pretty terrible though and the frame won't take newer disc breaks.

Enjoy riding your Beast, but try not to spend anything on it. Save your money for a modern bike - the difference will be night and day.
