    Hey,
I'll be staying in Dublin at the start of June (a Bank Holiday) with six friends for a concert and I was wondering if anyone knows of a hostel/cheap hotel anywhere near where we could stay. We're looking for somewhere pretty much as cheap as possible between us and a reasonable distance from The O2 Arena. If anyone has any suggestions regarding websites I could look on or of actual places that'd be great.

    Thanks :)

The Beresford hotel in Store St does good deals,http://www.beresfordhotelifsc.com
or if hostels are your thing the Isaac is beside it. These are very handy for both the city centre and the O2. http://www.isaacs.ie

the o2 is in the middle of nowhere. if i was you, i'd stay in generator hostel, if you can get a dorm for all your mates. it's packed with tourists as it's a good brand. it's kinda expensive as well. but right on the smithfield luas, so you can get it direct to o2.

The o2 is not in the middle of nowhere... the LUAS goes right up to it and there are some good hostels right beside Busaras LUAS stop.

I have heard that the generator hostel in Dublin is actually decent. Its saying on their site a private room for 6 people with a bathroom is about £13.50 (as in GBP) each per night, which is quite reasonable. I stayed in their Berlin one and it was grand. The guests are fun in it.
