Antique table help

    As seen in picture, the design off that table cloth has somehow transferred to the table. Any ideas on how i will remove the stain without ruining the table. I dont know what wood the table is and its like the stain is embedded as it is not scraping off.

    Please help!

    it is not from the table cloth what you have is a white ring caused by putting something hot like a mug or plate on the table. can happen even through a table cloth the easiest way of getting it out is to to take some meths and put it on some cotton wool dab it onto the white ring and then set it on fire with a cigarette lighter the heat from the burning meths drives off the moisture trapped in the finish and should return the affected area to original color
