I just got an email from Aer Lingus about 50% off fare to Europe so thinking now of getting away (2 adults, 2 kids-age 2 and 6) for October mid-term break, if we can get a good deal on accommodation.

From the list of choices/airports on offer we'd either go to Alvor in Portugal, Nerja in Spain or somewhere like Cascais in Portugal. We've been to Alvor and Nerja before and loved them but never Cascais- any recommendations on where would be best weather wise for that time of year?? Is it still warm enough to swim in the sea Oct/Nov in Portugal?

Just letting you know you need to book the flgihts like now as they are very limited over school hoildays and will go quick.

It shoudl be warm at that time, possible 20-23 degrees. Spain may be slightly hotter than Portugal.
