Just ordered a Hario grinder. Use an Aeropress only. Going to start buying roasted beans. Do I really need a scales or can I just use the Aeropress scoop to measure out a cup?

There not essential but they will improve the consistency of your cup, so maybe worth the small investment.

I bought this a few weeks ago for a little under a fiver. Arrived a few days ago and it's grand. For the sake of that price, it's definitely worth having.

I just use a scoop and adjust slightly more or less when needed.
I have a scale lying in the press but it very rarely come out for coffee purposes.
