Door stuck halfway

    Hi,

    My driver side door got stuck earlier halfway open. Just wondering if there's anything I can check or do to sort it? I can take it to a mechanic if needs be but i've had nothing but bad luck lately that I need to find a new honest mechanic!!

    I've attached pics, looks like the bar is stuck, i'll get a torx big enough to remove that screw later and see

    Opens just enough for me to get out, but barely!

    Broken checkstrap.
    Don't force it or you could find that the window stops working as well.
    Undo the torx screw and then you need to pop the door card off and remove it from the inside of the door.
