Bury CC 9068 Car Kit Software Failure

    Hi

I got one of these fitted into a new car back in 2008. Sometime last year while trying to complete a software update over bluetooth, the software failed and it is now stuck on the language selection screen.

Of course now with the new rules coming in - I am keen to get this fixed ASAP.

It seems after calling them in Germany today the only way it can be fixed is the send them the screen and the 'black box'. He said it usually behind the radio??

Does anyone know if this means I have to get it professionally removed?

Maybe it would be worth investing in a new car kit instead?

    Any thoughts or advise appreciated!

    Thanks

Yep, the black box is probably behind the radio. Any decent car audio place will be able to remove it.

I have a Bury 9048 which was stuttering with my iPhone and needed a software update but a place in Belfast swapped it out for the same model with updated software for £20. Took less than an hour. Might be worth contacting a few local places and asking them if they can help.
