Upgrading my girlfriends old laptop and replacing her broken screen. It's a siemens V5535 esprimo mobile. Anyone know where I can pick up a new screen? And a new HDD without spending a fortune.

I usually get stuff like that on ebay if you search for "Fujitsu Esprimo V5535 Matte 15.4" CCFL LCD Screen (A Condition)" you should see one for just under €50 including delivery from UK.

As for drives there have been a lot of reduced price SSDs in the bargain alerts forum. There was a kingston 240GB going pretty cheap though it's slower than most it should be plenty fast for an older machine like that.
