RSJ needed in attic?

    Hi there,

I am looking to floor the attic. The attic is not big enough for a room hence will only be used for storage. Size is ~5m x 3m with max height 0.95m.

There is already insulation between the joists. Since this is only for storage I was wondering if I could simply put 18mm OSB or chipboard on top of the joists or if I needed a RSJ.
Joists are 35 to 40mm wide with 250 to 300 gap between them.

Any advice on OSB vs chipboard?

    Thanks

No RSJs needed. Floor away. OSB will do fine. I personally avoid T&G in attic as if there is a need to lift a board for access in the future, it causes problems.
